Sotterley Plantation was the home of George Platter, sixth governor of Maryland and Herbert L. Satterlee a New York businessman lawyer. Sotterley Plantation is a historic landmark in Hollywood, Maryland.

The Air Mobility Command Museum has numerous restored U.S. tankers and military cargo planes. It is located at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The Museum preserves and collects artifacts relative to the development and of the United States Air Force.
