You may place books, DVDs, articles, and other materials on reserve for your students. Typically, reserves have shorter loan periods than other materials, ensuring that many students can access a limited number of items. Library holdings placed on reserve will be removed from the stacks; students simply inquire at the circulation desk with their course number and/or instructor name to borrow these materials.
Reserves are also a good way for you to share personal or department copies with your students. (Note that publishers may restrict usage of review copies and some instructors' editions; read the relevant terms and conditions before providing one of these to the library.) Please first complete the form below or contact the circulation department (circdesk@aacc.edu), then either drop off the items at the circulation desk (2nd floor) or send them to LBRY 233A (attn: reserves).
The library receives very limited funds to purchase textbooks from the AACC Bookstore. If your course text is not available in the library and you are not providing a personal copy, please use the form below to request that library staff purchase your text (limit: one copy). Please ensure your text is available for purchase before submitting your request; note that we are not permitted to buy DDA "print upgrades."
