Truxal Library Celebrates our Freedom to Read!
Welcome to Truxal Library's special topic library guide for this year's observance of Banned Books Week! This year we are excited to be partnering with AACC's very own Burned Book Society, who have created a corresponding exhibit, "Blind Date with a Banned Book" on the second floor of Truxal Library. On this page we feature recent information about the current state of book censorship in the United States. Visit the 'resources about censorship' tab to browse books and ebooks in the library's collection that support the study of censorship and book banning. Visit the "Blind Date with a Banned Book" tab to see photos of the Burned Book Society exhibit and read about some of the books selected for the dating pool.
