Welcome to the Library!

Truxal Library has a wealth of resources to support your participation in the AACC Business Pitch Competition. This guide highlights  books, eBooks and databases to help you create the most compelling pitch possible. The five tabs at the top of the guide cover:

  • Business Start-Up: Resources for every aspect of business start-up, from business plans to product development.
  • Financing: Guides that explain how to finance your business and links to government sources of loans.
  • Marketing: Market research tools and marketing strategy guides.
  • Intellectual Property: Practical guides to copyright, patents and trademarks for entrepreneurs and inventors.
  • Resumes: Resume how-tos and where to go for more help.

All electronic resources in this guide may be accessed from off-campus with your AACC Student ID or Truxal Library Card barcode. View the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to access library resources from off-campus.

This guide highlights Truxal Library's features a selection of current books and electronic resources to support your participation in the Business Pitch Competition. But, there is much more available to you! To find additional books, audio/visual materials, or print periodicals on this topic, try a keyword or subject search in the Library Catalog.

Try these business subjects:

Nonprofit organizations

From the information you find in the Catalog, be sure to note:

  • the Location of the item in the  Library Building
  • the item's  Call Number
  • whether the item is available or has been checked out.

If the item is an electronic resource, you can click on the access link in th catalog to read online. If off-campus, enter the 13-digit barcode number from the back of your AACC ID or Truxal library card.
