Faculty Guide to Truxal Library

Your Truxal library card

What can I do with a library card?

  • Borrow materials
  • Request materials from other libraries using our interlibrary loan service
  • Have library materials delivered to your work site (GBTC or AMIL)

How do I get a library card?

If you have an AACC photo ID, you have a library card! (Learn more about how to get a college ID.) Either the digital or printed photo ID may be used, as both contain a library barcode.

To borrow hard-copy materials, either bring your digital or physical photo ID to the circulation desk on the second floor of the library or complete the online application form, providing the barcode number from your ID.

Don't have an AACC ID? Stop by the circulation desk to request a library card. (If you don't teach at Arnold, you may use the online library card application.)

What about online resources?

Effective December 2021, AACC employees and students can use their MyAACC credentials for access to databases and other online resources. (This means students no longer need to submit a library card application – they can start their research right away!) See the Off-Campus Access page for more info.
