MLA-style and APA-style guidelines have changed recently, especially for citing sources accessed electronically. 

If you use a citation generator from a database or website, doublecheck, using this guide, to be sure the generator has used the current rules.

Interviews (conducted by researcher)
Name of person interviewed (last name, first name). Type of interview. Date of interview (day month year).

Film or video recordings
Title of the film or video. Dir. Name of the director. Other pertinent data (writer, performers, producer, original release date), if relevant.  Distributor, year of release. Medium (Film, DVD, etc.).

Television or radio programs
"Title of the episode or segment," if appropriate. Title of the program or series. Other pertinent data (narrator, director, performers), if relevant. Name of the network. Station call letters, city location (if any). Broadcast day month year. Medium.

"Chicken, Shrimp, and Sausage Stew." Hot Off the Grill with Bobby Flay. Food Network. 7 Jan. 2000. Television.

“Balance vs. Bias in Journalism.” Talk of the Nation. National Public Radio. WYPR, Baltimore. 17 Apr. 2006. Radio.

Sound Recordings
Your emphasis dictates the entity cited first (composer, conductor, performer/s, etc.). “Song title.” By Songwriter, if relevant. Recording title. Other entities important to the work (composer, conductor, performer/s, etc.). Rec. Recording date, if a live recording. Manufacturer, year of issue. Medium or type of file. Title of series, if applicable.
